Jessica Watkins is recognized as one of the best hair stylists in Nashville. She grew up in Nashville, and at a young age realized that hairdressing was her calling. Her dream began as a teenager taking over the spare bedroom doing hair for friends and family. After graduating from college, Jessica actively pursued obtaining her cosmetology license to further her dream of putting ShearLuxe into a reality. After showcasing her skills in a few other salons, preparation and opportunity came together June 2012 with the grand opening of ShearLuxe Hair Studio. Jessica’s focus has always been healthy hair. Period. Whether it be natural, relaxed, or color treated her focus if for your hair to be healthy. Her clientele is a wide range of diverse women with a portion of them being clients since the early stages of her career.
Jessica’s work has been seen in publication as well as local runways earning her an award from Nashville Raw Artist. She is always seeking learning opportunities by taking classes from some of the established greats in the industry. Education is key within ShearLuxe Hair Studio which is why all stylists are encouraged to seek out and participate in learning opportunities to assist them with being a better stylist.Jessica’s clientele continues to grow because she believes that every client is important.
